See anything you like among the clothes I make? If so, you’re in luck! My wardrobe is bursting at the seams (ha, ha) and it doesn’t look like I’ll stop sewing any time soon. As a sort of win-win-win solution, sewing for you (yes, you!) would mean that you get a unique piece of clothing entirely tailored to your size and preferences, that I don’t have to worry about the size of my closet, AND that I get some valuable practice to improve my sewing skills.
As a reminder: I am not a professional seamstress or a tailor! I strive for quality, but not perfection. Please keep that in mind.
How does it work?
Whenever I have some time to spare, I will offer a few “blank projects”. The first people to contact me through the contact form below get to pick a project. You choose the garment and the fabric, and I sew it up according to your measurements. Take a look at the list below to see which patterns I own.
What will it cost?
Seeing as I consider this practice, I don’t want to make any money doing it. I will charge materials (fabric, haberdashery, needles etc.) but not working hours. If you request a garment that I don’t already own the pattern for, you will have to provide the pattern as well.
List of patterns
Basic skirts – let me know what you have in mind and I’ll draft a pattern myself.
